As a Service Engineer , you\’ll lead maintenance projects relating to Forktrucks. You\’ll provide on-call assistance to customers at home or businesses, diagnosing and resolving Forktruck / Forkift issues. Our Lisburn based client cater for businesses of all sizes and can maintain all makes and models of materials handling equipment to ensure each customer is provided with an efficient, reliable and cost effective service. A qualified Service Engineer is required to join their team, providing maintenance and repairs across their comprehensive fleet of Diesel, Gas & Electric Forktruck solutions. The position comes with a Company Van, Mobile, Tablet and necessary work & protective gear. The working week is 39 hrs, Mon – Thur 08:30 – 5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday. Salary is dependent on experience, with paid overtime. 30 days paid holiday Responsibilities and Duties : Working with other mechanics and on your own to diagnose and resolve any functional issues in fork-lift equipment. Performing test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced. Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes. Working with the parts manager to order parts to ensure job is done as quickly as possible. Carrying out thorough examinations and routine service inspections. To ensure all completed job sheets, service sheets and parts requisitions are completed in full in a comprehensive manner with correct authorisation where required. Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills. Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition. Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed. Completing all documentation to the required standard.
