Sales Manager
Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client within the hospitality sector. The Sales Manager will lead the Weddings and Events Department. The Sales Manager will take full ownership of the sales pipeline – from generating leads and conducting show-rounds to closing deals and ensuring seamless handovers to the operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across weddings, events, and corporate sectors
- Promote event spaces and transient business, focusing on local corporates, business travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) clients
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, agencies, and suppliers
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to retain market share and grow revenue
- Meet and exceed individual and departmental sales targets
- Conduct detailed site visits and act as an ambassador for the hotel's service and standards
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams to maximise conversion and guest satisfaction

Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a hospitality sales role, ideally with weddings and events
- A confident communicator with outstanding customer service skills
- Commercially savvy, target-driven, and results-oriented
- A proactive approach with a \”can-do\” attitude and commitment to excellence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently while supporting and leading a team
- Knowledge of booking systems and CRM platforms
