Principal Legal Officer Salary: £29.55 p/h Location: Belfast Hours: 9am – 5pm , Mon – Fri / 37 hours per week Duration: Temporary ongoing Job Summary: Team 2 is responsible for representing the Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) and other NI Departments in Judicial Reviews, commercial litigation and procurement challenges, together with personal injury actions in the County Court and High Court and cost advice and representation before the Taxing Master. The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor and have a working knowledge of: Personal Injury litigation in the High Court and County Court; and Judicial Review litigation Commercial litigation Essential Criteria: Qualified solicitor or barrister, entitled to practice in NI. Minimum of 3 or more years post-qualification experience.
