About the Role
We are recruiting a Temporary Part-Time Payroll Officer to join our Finance Shared Services Centre in Belfast. Working as part of a dedicated Payroll Team, you will ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll for agency workers across the UK and Ireland. This role suits a detail-focused, organised individual who enjoys problem-solving and delivering high levels of accuracy. You will play a key part in maintaining payroll integrity, ensuring compliance with legislation, and supporting branch and onsite teams with payroll queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for agency staff across multiple UK & ROI locations.
- Perform weekly worker and placement exports to payroll systems, resolving any data errors.
- Complete weekly payroll checks and reconcile payrolls.
- Prepare and export timesheet files, ensuring all information is in the correct format.
- Amend and correct transfer errors in line with payroll deadlines.
- Process statutory payments and deduction orders.
- Issue payslips and P45s.
- Generate invoices as required.
- Liaise with Branch and Onsite Teams to resolve payroll issues promptly.
- Process holiday pay and record details accurately within the CRM system.
- Handle payroll queries and escalate where necessary.
- Support the Head of Payroll with any additional duties as required.
