They are now seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their Head Office finance team. The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a central role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust financial controls across the business. You'll be hands-on with the purchase ledger, general ledger, reconciliations, cashflow and month-end processes, while also supporting junior team members and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing cash books, payments and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Overseeing purchase ledger processes, supplier payments and reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger, including fixed assets
  • Supporting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
  • Preparing weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts
  • Assisting with audit preparation and financial reporting
  • Supporting and guiding team members within the finance function

About You

You'll be an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You'll ideally have:

  • A recognised finance qualification (IATI / part-qualified accountant or equivalent) or significant hands-on experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a finance role
  • Experience managing or supporting others within a finance team
  • Strong purchase ledger and reconciliation experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • The right to work in the UK
