Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Food and Beverage Manager on behalf of our client within the hospitality sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced departmental manager looking to take the next step in their career in hospitality. The Food & Beverage Manager will have a hands-on approach, taking full responsibility for the Food and Beverage team to deliver high-quality service across a busy hotel operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bar, restaurant and events spaces, overseeing day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Always ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Assist with the design of exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to your department.
  • Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
  • Develop the food and beverage teams by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising.
  • Establish targets, SOPs, policies and procedures required for your department to run effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with an emphasis on motivation and teamwork.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Report to management regarding sales results and productivity.
  • Any other duties the role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • Similar experience within a similar Food and Beverage Operations role.
  • Sound knowledge of the hospitality industry and competitors within N. Ireland.
  • Proven track record of the ability to lead a team to achieve sales targets, control costs and deliver exceptional service delivery.
  • Financial awareness.
