A well-established and growing accountancy firm is expanding its tax team and is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to support a diverse and expanding client portfolio. The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and growing organisations. This role offers a balance of technical work, client interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to tax planning and advisory projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns for submission
- Advise clients on corporation tax liabilities and compliance matters
- Conduct research into tax legislation and identify planning opportunities
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions
- Support the delivery of tax advisory work where required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- ACA or CTA qualified
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience within corporate tax
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax
- Experience working with a range of clients
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Experience within a practice environment
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to clearly present technical information to non-specialists
