What You'll Be Doing
As an Accountant, you'll be a trusted contributor to their day-to-day operations, supporting clients and colleagues across a variety of financial functions. This is a key role for someone who enjoys both detail and diversity in their work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts
- Handling reconciliations (bank, supplier, balance sheet)
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing and submitting VAT and statutory returns
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
- Producing internal financial reports
- Liaising with clients, colleagues, and auditors
Who You Are
You're detail-oriented, driven, and ready to take ownership of your work. You enjoy contributing to a collaborative team while also thriving in independent tasks.
You'll need to bring:
- AAT qualification or be part-qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role
