Our client in Cookstown is looking for Operation and Whey CIP Technicians with immediate start.

Hours: Fixed shifts - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am. Shift Pattern: 3 days on 3 days off 3 nights on.

We are recruiting Cheese and Whey Technicians to join our client's expanding production team in Cookstown. This is a key role within a highly automated cheese-making operation where you will develop strong technical knowledge and hands-on process expertise. Full training will be provided to ensure you gain a complete understanding of the cheese and whey production process - from pasteurisation and curd production through to finished product, including whey processing.

Responsibilities

  • Operate modern, automated cheese and whey production equipment
  • Develop specialist skills in cheese making and whey processing
  • Monitor production quality and process standards
  • Maintain hygiene and safety procedures (including CIP)
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs including English, Maths, and Science (Grade C or above)
  • Experience working on manufacturing lines using control systems/computers
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing standards including CIP/COP and HACCP
  • Food Safety training or qualification
