Head of Policy in Belfast

FSB Northern Ireland, the leading voice of small businesses, is seeking an exceptional Head of Policy to lead its research, policy development and advocacy agenda.

This is a rare opportunity to shape evidence-based policy that directly influences decision-making at Stormont, Westminster and local government level, representing the interests of over 6,000 business-owning members across Northern Ireland.

Working closely with political stakeholders, senior policymakers and FSB colleagues across the UK, the Head of Policy will:

• Lead and deliver FSB NI’s research and policy programme
• Provide evidence to Assembly Committees and Ministers
• Influence legislation impacting the SME and self-employed community
• Manage and mentor a small, high-calibre policy team
• Act as a senior spokesperson on key business issues when required

This role will suit a senior policy professional with strong research credentials, a deep understanding of political processes in Northern Ireland, and the confidence to operate at the highest levels of public affairs.
