We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our customer - a leading supplier of Mexican and Latin foods based in Reading. The ideal candidate will be experienced, driven, ambitious and not afraid to get stuck in! You need to have strong leadership skills - the ability to manage warehouse staff and ensure operational efficiency whilst maintaining high standards for safety and customer service. If your background is FMCG even better!

The rate of pay is £34,000-£36,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are: 8am to 5pm.

Your Time at Work

  • Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of warehouse operatives to meet daily targets.
  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures.
  • Monitoring team performance and providing coaching/training where necessary.
  • Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Liaising with supervisors, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handling any issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and productivity.
  • Rota Management.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (Team Leader/Supervisory role preferred).
  • FLT License Driving License.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of warehouse systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
