Apply today to work as a Turnaround Coordinator for our client, a global leader in logistics, supply chain and aviation ground handling and the appointed ground handling partner for airlines at Bristol Airport. The rate of pay is £15.40 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £23.10 per hour. This role offers both full and part-time positions. You will be able to work flexible shifts or Monday - Friday. The start times are: 3am, 4am, 10am, 12pm, 3pm up to 10pm. Applicants will have the flexibility to work shift patterns, weekends and possibly bank holidays. You must hold a full UK driving licence (often required for airside/ground operations roles).

Your Time at Work

As the Turnaround Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring aircraft arrive, turn, and depart on time while maintaining compliance and safety standards. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all activities associated with aircraft stand arrival, turnaround service.
  • Loading/unloading, boarding, and departure to meet scheduled turn times.
  • Liaising effectively with ramp operations, ground handling teams, third-party suppliers and airline/airport stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitoring on-time performance (OTP) metrics and proactively managing any deviations or delays, recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all ground handling activities comply with airline, airport and company safety/security standards (airside ID, driving permits, etc).

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must be able to provide a 5-year checkable address/employment history (standard aviation security requirement) and the willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and secure airside ID/vetting. Previous experience in airport operations, ground handling, turnaround coordination or a similar role is strongly preferred. Proven supervisory or team-lead experience in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Applicants will show excellent communication skills (both verbal & written), able to interface with multiple teams and stakeholders. Strong organisational, time-management, and decision-making abilities; capable of reacting quickly to changing circumstances.
