We're looking for experienced Team Manager's to lead a production team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Thrapston.

The rate of pay is £35,000- £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The hours of work are:
- 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

As a Team Manager you'll drive daily performance and ensure your people are engaged, well managed and productive - it is a fast paced role and ever changing!

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of operatives to achieve daily plan and KPI targets
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and site standards, taking prompt action on deviations.
  • Champion health & safety on shift: risk assessments, safe systems of work, incident reporting and near-miss closure.
  • Manage shift handovers, allocate labour, and coordinate priorities.
  • Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Complete line checks, audits and documentation accurately (CCPs, traceability, start-up checks, allergen controls).
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management, including absence management and disciplinaries (with HR support).
  • Escalate issues effectively and contribute to daily/weekly performance reviews.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience supervising/managing teams in food manufacturing or FMCG production.
  • Confidence leading people: coaching, delegation, feedback, and handling performance conversations.
  • Comfortable working to pace, prioritising under pressure and making safe, quality-led decisions.
  • A good understanding of cost models and experience of budget control
  • Good IT and paperwork accuracy (production records, KPI trackers, audits).
