Apply today to work nights as a Hygiene Operative at our client's site, a European leader for food and meat processing (Lamb) with onsite Butchery, Packing & Despatch departments. Staffline are recruiting for Hygiene Operatives in Andover. The rate of pay is £14.22 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £21.33 per hour. This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts and the hours of work are: 4pm to 12am (Midnight).
Your Time at Work
- Cleaning Production Equipment: Cleaning & sanitising machinery used in food production. Ensuring equipment is ready for the next production shift.
- Factory Deep Cleaning: Cleaning floors, walls, drains, work surfaces, conveyors, and production areas using industrial cleaning equipment. Removing food debris and preventing contamination.
- Using Cleaning Chemicals Safely: Handling detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning agents in line with COSHH and company procedures. Wearing the correct PPE and following safety guidelines.
- Maintaining Food Safety and Hygiene Standards: Ensuring all areas meet hygiene, HACCP, and food safety requirements. Completing hygiene records and helping the site remain audit-ready.
- Reporting and Supporting Operations: Reporting damaged equipment, leaks, blockages, or safety hazards. Completing cleaning schedules on time to support efficient factory start-up.
