Job Description We are recruiting for Line Leader to work in our citrus department at our clients site in Alconbury Transport is provided from Peterborough at 4 different locations for £8 per day to take you there and back.

  • £12.71 per hour (During training)

• £13.70 per hour ( After training_ Overtime is paid after 48 hours

  • £15.89 per hour (During training)
  • £17.13 per hour (After training) This role is working 4 on and 4 off shifts.

The hours of work are 07:00-19:30 Your Time at Work As a Line Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing Production and Machine Operatives on the Citrus lines.
  • Promoting best practices, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and working with Quality Control to maintain product freshness.
  • Making decisions in a fast-paced environment, monitoring KPIs, and suggesting ways to improve efficiency.
  • Creating a safe and supportive working environment, upholding the company culture, and motivating your team to succeed.

Our Perfect Worker Our ideal line leader will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability and quick decision-making are essential. n In addition, our ideal line leader will have:

  • Previous supervisory or team management experience
  • Experience in fresh produce or food production environments
  • Strong communication, organisational, and people skills.
  • An understanding of the production lifecycle, or a willingness to learn.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
