Apply today to work nights as an HGV Class 2 Driver for our client's UK's Leading Bread Manufacturer, producing and delivering a wide range of bread and bakery products to retailers and customers. Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers in Nottingham. The rate of pay is £15.00 - £18.00 per hour. This is a full-time role working night shifts and the hours of work are between:
- 00:00am (Midnight) - 04:00am
Your Time at Work
As a HGV Class 2 Driver your duties include:
- Completing all deliveries between 15 and 30 drops per day, our routes cover store deliveries
- Loading your own vehicle in route order - loaders are available but not always for every driver.
- The bread is stacked in bread baskets/Wheels. The driver will have a metal hook to load, unload and manoeuvre the bread baskets
- You will be allocated a bay. Once the vehicle is in the bay, a member of the warehouse team and the driver will retrieve the product from the warehouse and wheel it to the bay, ready for the driver to load the vehicle.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be hard-working, have a can-do attitude, and have excellent customer service skills. You will hold a valid C category Licence, a valid tacho, and CPC. You will have no more than 6 points on the licence, no DR's IN's or any other Major Endorsements. A minimum of 6 months HGV2 Driving Experience is required.
