An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Controller to join our client's fast-paced production site in Newmarket, with an immediate start available. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity and there is a high chance of a temp-to-perm contract for the right candidate.
Due to the location of the site in Newmarket, candidates must have access to their own vehicle or reliable transport to travel to and from the workplace.
- Under 21 years of age: £12.76 per hour
- Overtime available after 45 hours at £13.26 per hour
- Aged 21 and over: £12.86 per hour
- Overtime available after 45 hours at £13.41 per hour
You will be responsible for managing intake operations from a quality perspective, including inspection, reporting, and ensuring production demands are met without delays. You will lead and support the Intake team, making sure all quality standards, food safety requirements, and company procedures are followed at all times.
The role involves monitoring product quality, reporting non-conforming goods, and maintaining clear communication with operations, technical teams, and management. In addition, you will maintain high standards of health and safety across the site and ensure all employees follow company policies and food hygiene requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a quality control or food production environment, with a good understanding of food safety and quality standards.
