Food Production Operative - 12 Hour Shifts

Staffline is recruiting for Food Production Operatives to work in Bromborough.
The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour.
Overtime is available at this site after working 48 hours and is paid £15.89 per hour.
This role offers 12-hour shifts on 5 on 5 off rotation of mornings and nights with shifts starting 6.30am-6.30pm / 6.30pm-6.30am.
Involves working 2 weekends per month and 2 full weekends off per month.
Your Time at Work
As a General Food Production Operative your duties would include:
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced packing environment.
- Some heavy lifting and repetitive work is involved -Erecting boxes
- Packing products into boxes (frozen, ambient and hot)
- Loading hoppers with raw ingredients
- Unboxing fats at the start of the process
- Applying lids to pails with the finished product in
- Cleaning duties
All breaks will be unpaid, but colleagues will receive paid time for all operational procedures.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Food Production Operative is a quick-thinking team player as well as a fast learner. Some manual handling will be involved and so a certain level of physical fitness is required.
Experience as a Food Production Operative, Warehouse or a Factory Operative is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
Must be able to work on rotating shift patterns and be flexible.
