Great opportunity to work as a PPT Driver for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK. Staffline is recruiting PPT Drivers to work at our client's busy, chilled flower distribution warehouse for the Mother's Day peak period in Pymoor, Ely. You will have the opportunity to work up to 10 consecutive shifts from 4th until 14th March. Own transport is required due to the location.
The rate of pay is:
- Day Shift - £13.26 per hour
- Overtime: £16.58 per hour after 48 hours
- Night Shift - £16.58 per hour
- Overtime: £20.72 per hour after 48 hours
The hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm - Days
- 7pm to 7am - Nights
Please note, this is subject to change to cover and meet business requirements.
Your Time at Work
As a PPT Driver, your duties include:
- Operating a PPT truck to move products
- Ensuring safe handling and transportation of goods
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will:
- Hold a valid PPT license
- Be confident in operating PPT trucks in a fast-paced environment
- Have previous experience in a similar role is required
- In-house certifications are welcome, as training can be provided
For the right candidate, there is the option to attend a novice course to gain an in-house PPT driver certificate. Please note that you will need to be able to commute to Alconbury, Huntingdon for the assessment or novice course.
