Great opportunity to work as a Driver Trainer and Compliance Officer for our client, who has more than 30 years' experience in the logistics industry. The rate of pay is up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a full-time permanent role working fixed day shifts, and the hours of work are: 9am to 5:30pm.
Your Time at Work
As a Driver Trainer and Compliance Officer, you will be working in accordance with the company values of Safe, Talented, Attentive, and Reliable. Other duties include:
- Provide support and advise all employees, including drivers, on compliance and Health and Safety.
- Monitor and assist all employees in completing their daily tasks.
- Deliver the CPC training and maintain accurate records to ensure all the required hours are completed prior to expiry dates, induct and train all new employees during the onboarding process.
- Able to fully utilise the telematics system to monitor driver behaviours and safe driving, and review and implement all training requirements for both operational staff and drivers.

- In-depth Health and Safety and Driver regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transport and warehousing.
- Knowledge of FORS and FORS Practitioner desirable.
- Telematics systems such as Trutac, Microlise, or Haultech.
- Approved CPC trainer and instructor's license - MUST HAVE.
- International CPC and Class 1 Driving License.
- Presentation skills and the ability to apply to H&S regulations.
- Extensive operational experience in logistics.
- Experience in completing driver assessments.
Experience in a similar role required.
