Job Description
Great opportunity to work as a Boning Hall Operative for our client a leading beef processing site.Staffline is recruiting Boning Hall Operatives to work in Shrewsbury.This is a full-time role with fixed days Monday to Friday (All bank holidays off). The hours of work are:- 6:30am until end of production (usually between 2pm to 4:30pm)The rate of pay is £13.01 per hour + piece rate bonus on a daily basis.Overtime is paid at £17 per hour.This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand in preparing a fresh product.Your Time at WorkAs a Boning Hall Operative your duties will include:- Working within the butchery team to complete the daily planning order to a high standard ensuring that quality and pace are maintained.- Ensure that all products are boned out/trimmed to meet customer/company specifications whilst also maximising yield and minimising waste.- Breakdown beef cuts to customer/company specification.- Learn and understand all cuts of the beef carcass.- Ensure strict adherence to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and handling processes.- Follow the traceability process and ensure product and labelling integrity at all times.Our Perfect WorkerOur perfect Production Operative will have the ability to work on their own initiative whilst working as part of a team, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and have the ability to demonstrate knife skills.Key Information and Benefits- Earn £13.01 – £17 per hour- Fixed Shifts- On-site support from Staffline- Canteen on site- Free car parking on site- Good links to public transport- Uniform provided- Temp to perm opportunity- Career progression opportunitiesJob ref: 1ABSAbout StafflineStaffline is the UK's leading provider of flexible, temporary and permanent workforce solutions, enabling over 28,000 people into good work every day.
