Great opportunity to work as a Boning Hall Operative for our client, a leading beef processing site. Staffline is recruiting Boning Hall Operatives to work in Shrewsbury. This is a full-time role with fixed days Monday to Friday (all bank holidays off). The hours of work are 6:30am until the end of production (usually between 2pm to 4:30pm).
The rate of pay is £13.01 per hour with a piece rate bonus on a daily basis. Overtime is paid at £17 per hour. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand in preparing a fresh product.
Your Time at Work
- Working within the butchery team to complete the daily planning order to a high standard ensuring that quality and pace are maintained.
- Ensure that all products are boned out/trimmed to meet customer/company specifications whilst also maximising yield and minimising waste.
- Breakdown beef cuts to customer/company specification.
- Learn and understand all cuts of the beef carcass.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and handling processes.
- Follow the traceability process and ensure product and labelling integrity at all times.
