Staffline are currently recruiting 2 x HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client, a leading wood/Timber client based in Stoke-on-Trent. As part of their growth, we are looking for skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team working Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis. We are looking for Day drivers to start within a 04:00 - 07:00 window. Average 2 - 4 Deliveries per shift, with average shift length around 11 hours per day. Curtain sider/strapping required.
PAYE Rates: Weekday £16.82 P/H. Newly Passed will be considered with upskilling. Ideally 3 months or more experience.
Your Time at Work Responsibilities:
- Perform Class 1 depot delivery, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate deliveries and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.

Our Perfect Worker:
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
