The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. This is a part-time role, working during school term times. This role is a 10 hours per week contract with scope to work up to 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. The hours of work are Monday - Friday with availability between 6.30am - 10.00am and 2.30pm - 5.00pm.
No experience is necessary, but a passion for delivering essential services to the most vulnerable members of our community is essential. A manual Driving Licence is required.
Your Time at Work: As a Driver, you'll be driving children and adults with special needs to and from school. Creating a warm and welcoming journey for passengers and building professional relationships and trust with parents/carers. You will also be responsible for keeping vehicles clean, roadworthy, and ready for each trip.
Our Perfect Worker: Our perfect Driver will be a hardworking individual with the ability to show commitment and care to individuals or small groups. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work alongside a passenger assistant member. You will have a caring and calming nature. Be willing to have an enhanced DBS and medical check completed. You must hold a full-valid driving licence for a minimum of 3 years, with no more than 6 points on your DVLA check.
