Great opportunity to work as a Trainee Textiles Cutter for our client - a world-leading designer and manufacturer of medical devices that help improve the quality of life for people with disabilities all around the world.
Staffline is recruiting Trainee Cutters in Redruth. The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. 12 weeks of temporary employment, leading to a permanent role for the right person. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday 7am - 12pm
Your Time at Work
As a Trainee Textiles Cutter, you will be responsible for following different patterns to cut and clip to specified measurements. Check products to specification. Log work on manufacturing software.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the ability to work well with your hands, be thorough and precise, and show high attention to detail, with an interest in textiles. There is some manual handling involved in this role, and you must be able to stand for long periods of time. You will ideally have some interest in the textiles industry and be looking for a new challenge. Applicants will have the ability to work to their own initiative as well as part of a team and be numerically competent and computer literate. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
