About the Role - Transport & Operations Graduates
Are you a recent or post‑graduate, ready to make a real difference in your local community? This local Authority Council is looking for motivated, collaborative graduates to join their Transport, Logistics, Operations and Environmental Green Spaces Services teams. As a Transport, Logistics and Operations Graduate, you will:
- Support and learn across transport operations, collections, fleet transport and environmental services, helping to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable delivery of council services.
- Work closely with experienced logistics, waste, transport and fleet professionals to plan routes, manage fleets, manage grounds, green spaces, and optimise services to meet community needs.
- Through this work, you will support the delivery of improved transport and a safer, more inclusive, and more sustainable transport network.
- Develop your skills in health & safety, compliance, and operational management in real‑world environments.
- Rotational exposure to fleet operations, logistics, highways, environmental services, and green spaces.
