Job Overview
CLASS 1 HGV / LGV DRIVER β FULL TIME, PART TIME, WEEKENDS. Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client in Basingstoke. Start times available between 1700 and 0200, 7 days a week. Regular weekend work is available. PAYE only.
Pay and Hours
- Early Mornings (04:00 β 09:59) β Β£22.24 per hour
- Days (10:00 β 17:59) β Β£23.08 per hour
- Nights (18:00 β 03:59) β Β£23.92 per hour
After 12 weeks of continuous work, overtime pays up to Β£35.89 per hour with no deduction for breaks.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV 1 Driver, you will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen product to store locations across the Midlands and South East using both articulated and rigid vehicles. Minimal manual labour is required β full training will be provided. The site operates 24/7 throughout the year and can offer long term ongoing assignments. Flexibility and commitment will enable you to secure regular shifts; some weekend availability will be required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of HGV \βartic\β driving experience with demonstrable reversing skills
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence
- Digital driving card and DCPC
