Join us as an Area Security Officer around Chorley, working in a busy environment across various sites including Blackburn, Accrington, and Bolton. This role offers regular day shifts from Monday to Saturday, allowing you to plan your life around work, with no two days the same. It provides an opportunity to build a career with a leading security company.

Your Working Details

  • Position: Area Security Officer
  • Location: Various sites in Chorley and surrounding areas (including Blackburn, Accrington, and Bolton; a fuel allowance is paid)
  • Pay Rate: Β£12.60 per hour
  • Hours: Average 42.5 hours per week
  • Shifts: Days only, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, with occasional out-of-hours work
  • Note: Must drive and have own vehicle to access sites. An SIA license is preferred; training is available for suitable candidates.

Your Responsibilities

  • Greeting staff and visitors
  • Controlling access to buildings
  • Patrolling premises and ensuring security protocols are followed
  • Handling disturbances, issues, and security incidents
  • Providing first aid and reporting incidents

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Being tech-savvy is important as our systems are digital and paperless.
  • Candidates should be aged 18 or over, confident communicators, team players, and committed to delivering friendly, professional service.
  • SIA licensing is preferred but training can be provided.
