We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a global, market leading engineering business. You will be responsible for working on a wide range of CNC equipment, providing timely and efficient machine repairs, installations and upgrades for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and installation of new machines
- Carry out emergency breakdown tasks on a range of CNC Machines
- Relocation of existing equipment
- Customer training
- Preventative maintenance
- Ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair
- Troubleshooting problems
- Proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programmes
Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC or equivalent in Engineering
- Ability to diagnose faults and make recommendations in customer environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with the customer
- Full UK drivers License
- Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
