Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - a big furniture company in the warehouse industry. Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Dartford. The rate of pay is £14.04 per hour. This is a full-time role working nights, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are: 6pm to 6am.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the warehouse supervisor
  • Working in a team environment in a safe manner, adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
  • Loading vehicles ready for customer deliveries
  • Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
  • Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment
  • Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
  • Ensuring high standards are met in line with the clients quality processes
  • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site

You will have the appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be physically fit and able to assist in the movement of goods, which may include bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting in line with Health and Safety regulations. You will have the ability to read and understand instructions and count accurately. Applicants will be reliable, self-motivated, strong team players and will have a flexible approach to work. A Counterbalance Licence is essential, and PPT Licenses are desirable. Experience in a similar role is required.
