We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional 7.5T Driver to join our client’s team based in Castleford. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to their customers, while representing our company to a high standard.
Requirements
- Please only apply for this role if you hold a full driving license, CPC and Digi card.
Remuneration & Hours
- £30,000 per annum.
- Full-time role working Monday-Friday, 7am to 4:30pm.
Your Time at Work
- Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods across regional routes.
- Loading and unloading goods safely.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in full.
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners.
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining compliance with health & safety and driving regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery.
Our Perfect Worker
- Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
- Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
- Physically fit – some manual handling required.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Previous 7.5T driving experience essential.
- Knowledge of the local area.
