A growing multi-entity construction and facilities group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across NI and ROI. This is a hands-on role covering finance processing, reporting, compliance and systems management. It would suit a proactive finance professional who is comfortable working independently and managing a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
- Handling banking queries and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations, with audit support.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and reporting packs.
- Coordination of year-end accounts for multiple entities.
- Liaison with external accountants and auditors.
- Supplier invoice processing, allocation and reconciliation.
- Intercompany journals and reconciliations.
- Creditor runs, supplier statement reconciliations and payment processing.
- Sales and contract invoicing.
- VAT return preparation and submission.
- PAYE, CIS and payroll processing.
- Pension uploads and statutory compliance.
- Oversight of rental income, costs and related accounts.
- Responsibility for the accounting system, including Xero.
- General finance support and process improvement.
About You
- Qualified or qualified by experience, ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Strong multi-entity accounting experience.
- Experience in a hands-on Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Management Accountant role.
- Good working knowledge of VAT, payroll and compliance.
- Strong Xero experience is essential.
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines and communicate clearly.
