About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Financial Reporting SO Accountant on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for a proactive individual skilled in financial analysis, problem-solving, and effective communication with both finance and non-finance professionals.
Our client\βs customers include local, national, and international commercial companies, Northern Ireland and UK Departments, Agencies, and related bodies in the European Union.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and/or quarterly management accounting reports.
- Analyse and interpret financial data to support decision-making.
- Provide expert advice on financial reporting, accounting standards, and best practices.
- Lead the preparation of Annual Reports and Accounts in line with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidelines, including GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, including the Northern Ireland Audit Office.
- Qualifications: A qualified accountant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
