Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Google Growth Specialist on behalf of a leading Web and Digital Marketing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a forward-thinking, dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, build and optimise campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Display, YouTube (as appropriate).
- Ongoing optimisation: search terms, keyword strategy, negatives, bids/budgets, audiences, creative testing, landing page feedback.
- Improve efficiency against agreed KPIs (ROAS/CPA/leads/revenue), with clean, client-friendly reporting.
- Run technical SEO audits (crawl/indexation, site architecture, internal linking, CWV basics, schema opportunities).
- Keyword research, content mapping, on-page optimisation, and prioritised SEO roadmaps.
- Collaborate with dev/content team to ship fixes and improvements (tickets, acceptance criteria, QA).
- Implement/maintain conversion tracking with GA4 + GTM (events, enhanced conversions where applicable).
- Validate attribution and data quality, troubleshoot tracking issues, and keep a measurement playbook per client.
- Build reporting in Looker Studio (or equivalent) that ties activity to outcomes.
- Own Google channel strategy per client: quarterly plans + monthly performance updates.
- Explain results in plain English and provide clear next actions.

Person Specification:
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads accounts end-to-end (strategy β build β optimise β report).
- Working knowledge of SEO (technical + on-page + content planning).
- Strong analytical mindset: comfortable in GA4, interpreting trends, and making decisions from data.
- Comfortable using: Google Ads, GA4, GTM, and reporting dashboards (Looker Studio).
- Clear communication: you can explain performance to both marketers and business owners.
Desirable Criteria:
- eCommerce experience (Merchant Center, Shopping feeds, PMax).
- Experience with online competition/prize giveaway businesses CRO mindset (landing page testing ideas, messaging alignment, UX feedback).
- Experience across multiple verticals (agency background).
- Google certifications (Search/Display/Measurement) and/or Google Partner environment.
- Familiarity with common SEO toolsets (SEMrush/Ahrefs/Screaming Frog, etc.).
