Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Mow, trim, and maintain grassed areas using council equipment.
- Plant, prune, and care for trees, flowers, and shrubs.
- Ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects such as flower beds and winter gritting.
- Work as part of a team to support groundskeeping, repairs, and upkeep.
- Carry out general cleaning and litter collection in public areas.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- An NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 12 months' grounds maintenance experience gained within a commercial environment to include the following:
- Grass cutting, horticultural and grounds maintenance experience, including the set-up, safe use and routine maintenance of a range of horticultural equipment/machinery to include ride on grounds machinery;
- General maintenance of outdoor areas parks
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its application in the workplace to include working with a variety of plant and equipment.
