Overview
Staffline Recruitment Ireland are partnering with a large, highly respected global organisation to recruit a Security Architect specialising in Network and Cloud environments. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role where you'll take ownership of designing and shaping cloud-based network security across a complex, enterprise-scale environment. You'll work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to ensure cloud platforms are secure, resilient, and aligned with best-practice security standards. If you enjoy designing security solutions rather than responding to incidents, and you want to operate as a true design authority, this role will be of strong interest.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing secure cloud-native network architectures and solutions
- Defining and embedding security standards, patterns, and best practices across cloud platforms
- Leading the design and ongoing improvement of cloud security controls and tooling
- Assessing cloud environments to identify security risks and design gaps
- Producing clear, well-structured architecture and solution documentation
- Acting as a trusted security advisor to engineering teams and senior stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud security solutions
- Experience in deploying enterprise CASB and CNAPP solutions
- Solid background in network security within cloud environments (segmentation, access controls, traffic management)
- Experience working with identity and access management solutions in the cloud (Microsoft Entra ID desired)
- Proven ability to assess security risk and translate it into practical architectural solutions
- Comfortable working in regulated or security-conscious environments
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex security concepts clearly
- A formal degree is welcome but not essential if you bring equivalent hands-on experience.
Applicants must have full rights to work unrestricted in the United Kingdom, and be able to reliably commute to the work location on a hybrid basis.
