Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative and Driver for our client the UK\βs leading supplier of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.
Staffline is recruiting a Warehouse Operative and Driver in Birmingham, the current site is B24 however, the site will move in September to B46.
The rate of pay is Β£29,020 per annum, plus bonus!
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday, hours, No Weekends or Bank Holidays. The hours of work are:
β 6am to 3:30pm
β 9am to 6:30pm
The hours will rotate each week.
Please only apply if you hold a CPC and Digicard/Tacho and are willing to work both in the warehouse and drive.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative and Driver you will place goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders. Assist in the loading of vehicles. Job to be performed in a manner which enables the Company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
β Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
β Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
β Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
β Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
β Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting and lowering
β Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
