Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm

Salary up to £41,000 D.O.E

Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Quality Management systems, with knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100, and experience of metal finishing processes.

In your role as Quality Manager:

  • You will be responsible for Quality management on the shop floor
  • Internal auditing
  • Maintenance of QMS
  • To provide support and guidance in relation to quality management and assurance for site
  • Ensuring continuous site quality conformity in relation to the products processes
  • To ensure site complies with the requirements of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100 Quality management systems, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, along with any customer specific requirements specified
  • Arranging and Management of external audit activity for customers
  • Managing the Quality Department – Maintaining HR files, new starter inductions & including training
  • Supervising Quality inspectors
  • Arranging and controlling internal & external equipment, calibration
  • Maintenance of controlled documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, SOP’s & care points
  • Managing APQP activities, including producing PPAP’s when required

To be considered for the role of Quality Manager:

  • Experience in a similar management role
  • Experience of metal finishing processes
  • Familiarisation of Core tool: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and SPC
  • Able to work under pressure and use initiative to get tasks completed
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Ability to execute internal audit activity
  • Current driving Licence holder
  • IATF16949/AS9100 Lead Auditor Qualifications
