We are currently recruiting for a General operative with Counterbalance licence for one of our clients based in Middlesbrough. This role is offered on a Temp to Perm basis. Working Monday – Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm – 10pm. However for the foreseeable future you will be working just the 6-2, however the later shift can and will be turned on at any point for Production purpose and you must be able to work both. You will be paid a 20% shift allowance from the very start even if you don’t work the 2-10 shift – hourly rate for this role is £16.12 inclusive of shift rate. Your Time at Work This is a very fast paced role and will be working outdoors, Duties include -Safely and efficiently direct visiting vehicles whilst loading and offloading goods. -Maintaining activity flow of the Production Lines. -Sortation of stocks to correct standards following specific guidelines. -Ensure trucks and equipment are well maintained and report operational problems including damage to truck or other property. -Carefully handle and store the company’s hire stock while following required stock rotations. Our Perfect Worker You must have a valid and in date Counterbalance license either (RTITB/ITSAR) The successful candidate must be happy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable and confident operating a FLT. The must also have great communication skills and have a strong safety mindset.
