About the Role We are working with a national home delivery and logistics business to recruit a Home Delivery Training Coordinator. This is a hands-on, varied role where you\’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality training to warehouse operatives, delivery drivers, and associated teams. You\’ll be based at a purpose-built training facility in Lichfield, but the role will also involve regular travel to depots across the UK to deliver driver assessments, in-field coaching, and operational support. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on developing others, can deliver engaging and interactive training, and enjoys working closely with operational teams to drive service excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging training sessions for new starters and existing staff across warehouse and delivery operations Coach, motivate, and develop teams to achieve top-level customer service standards Create induction packs, training materials, and departmental handbooks Build and maintain training matrices and plans for staff development Conduct driver ride-alongs and spot checks to ensure best practice is followed Provide training on safe loading of vehicles and core operational processes Monitor and review training effectiveness through evaluations and performance feedback Assist with vehicle gatehouse checks and support operational audits Investigate customer complaints and property damage, identifying training needs where necessary Work closely with management to ensure consistency across all depots What We\’re Looking For Essential: Proven training delivery experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse, or home delivery environments Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to engage with staff at all levels and influence positive behaviours Health & Safety awareness Competent IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.) Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points) Desirable: Previous home delivery or \”final mile\” experience Driving assessor qualifications or experience Quality control knowledge Customer service background Why Apply?
