We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading chilled food manufacturer, currently seeking an experienced Line Leader to join their production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, driven professional to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume chilled food environment.
As Line Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team on the production floor, ensuring daily targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and consistency of production output.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives on the production line.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all food safety standards at all times.
- Monitor team performance, including productivity, timekeeping, and training compliance.
- Ensure daily production plans are completed on time and in full, escalating any issues as needed.
- Complete and review production paperwork accurately and to audit-ready standards.
- Support pre-production setup and contribute to the smooth rollout of new product launches.
- Work collaboratively with management to address and resolve any production challenges.
- Maintain proper use of equipment and report any defects or safety concerns promptly.
- Contribute to internal audits and assist with implementing corrective actions.

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory or line leader role within food production—ideally in fresh produce or chilled food manufacturing.

- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
