Staffline is recruiting for a Tug Shunter Driver to work nights in Burton-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Tug Shunter Driver for a leading supply chain for the distribution of cosmetics and pharmacy goods.
We need 2 x HGV Class 1 Terberg shunters
1x 4 on 4 off - 06:00 starts, 12 hours per shift.
Immediate start
1x Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 starts, 10 hour shifts - Starts Mid October
Both positions are prebooked through to the end of the year.
Other driving work alongside this working pattern is available!
The pay rates are:
Monday to Friday 06:00 - 18:00 - £19 p/h
Monday to Friday 18:00 - 06:00 - £20 p/h
Weekends - Friday 14:00 to Sunday 23:59 - £22 p/h
Plus £1 p/h retention bonus, paid in January for all hours completed.
Your Time at Work
As a Tug Shunter Driver, your duties will include:
- Shunting using a Terberg Tug
- Yardwork
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers/winding legs
- Confident bay parking
Our Perfect Worker
As a Class 1 HGV Tug Shunter Driver, you will ideally have:
- HGV Class 1 C+E licence
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and DQC
