VAN DRIVERS REQUIRED FOR HOME DELIVERY, DELIVERIES CUSTOMER FOCUS
FULL TIME REGULAR WORK ON 5 ON 3 OFF ROTA
£500 BONUS PAID AFTER COMPLETING 12 WEEKS
IMMEDIATE STARTS AND ALL SHIFTS STARTING AT 05:30HRS (no more than 6 points on your license).
We will ask you to attend a site open day as part of the recruitment process prior to being allocated an assessment.
Assessment consists of Theory Test, Drug and Alcohol fingerprint and Driving Assessment.
Your Time at Work As a van driver, you'll join a new team to assist the client strive for greater heights for their customers.
From the local fulfilment centre, you'll be part of a team that aims to give customers more choice with same day delivery, putting the customer at the heart of their service.
This role is not about the numbers of parcels it's the quality of service you give when delivering the customer has room or rooms of choice, - 1 person service will consist of up to 35kg parcels - 2 person service has no weight limit
As a Van Driver, you'll be: - Loading your own van at the beginning, mid shift and end of each shift, so you'll know where everything is. - Deliver up to 10 drops per shift in a set area, using the technology to guide and trollies help you on your drops. - You'll be the face of the final delivery mile, demonstrating care of the customers purchase right to their door and room of choice. - Average shift length of 10.5 - 11.5hrs per day, shift length will vary day to day Being a retail operation, our client delivers all year round and will provide each driver with a long-term ongoing assignment.

Our Perfect Worker As a Van Driver, you will have - - 6 months experience is preferred - A full UK/EU manual driving licence for at least the past 12 months - No more than 6 points - Be over the age of 18 - Be of smart appearance with experience of great customer service - Multi drop driving experience - Able to work on your own or in a team - Heavy lifting is essential and a big part of the role
