HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking Work | Premium Rates | Stoke-on-Trent
Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading logistics operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers who want steady hours, clean trunking routes, and the chance to earn top rates – with overtime and holiday enhancements included.
Shift Patterns:
- 44hrs guaranteed across the 4 Days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
- Nights: 22:00 – 06:00
Pay Rates (PAYE) Paid Weekly:
- Nights: £20.85 per hour
- Overtime (Nights): £30.22 per hour
- Weekends: £22.55 per hour
- Bank Holiday Xmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day: £59.40 per hour
Your Time at Work
This role is predominantly Class 1 trunking work with no handball involved. Your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting goods to various UK locations
- Ensuring timely and secure deliveries
- Adhering to all road and safety regulations
- Completing all relevant delivery paperwork accurately
- Working closely with the transport and logistics team

- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum of 6 months\’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
