Pay Rate: £14.95 per hour (first 48 hours), £22.43 per hour (overtime)

Type of Job: Temporary (Temp to Perm Opportunities Available)

Our client based in Burton-on-Trent is currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their busy home delivery team. You will be part of a two-man team, delivering a variety of items, from small items like taps to larger deliveries such as kitchens and bathrooms.

There is an opportunity for this to become a temp-to-perm position, with the potential for ongoing work and guaranteed weekly hours. We're looking for experienced drivers with a minimum of 6-12 months' driving experience and no more than 3 points on your driving licence.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers' homes. You'll work as part of a 2-man team, with the assistance of lifting equipment to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. Uniforms and the required equipment will be provided, and you will be expected to maintain a professional, customer-facing appearance.

Shifts:

  • Tuesday to Saturday

Start times: Between 05:30 and 07:00

Finish times: Between 15:00 and 17:00

  • Minimum 6-12 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
  • Physically fit to manage deliveries (including lifting)
  • A clean and professional appearance for customer-facing work
