Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Bradford BD5. A minimum of 2 years' experience in HGV driving is required for this role.
PAYE rates as below:
- Days 05:45 - 18:00 - £18.57 Per Hour
- Nights 18:00 - 05:45 - £20.01 Per Hour
- O/T Days (After 8 hours daily) - £27.85 Per Hour
- O/T Nights (After 8 hours daily) - £30.01 Per Hour
- Bank Holidays - £59.67 Per Hour
Early morning and afternoon start times available:
- Early: 1am-4am
- Afternoon: 12pm-4pm
Full time hours available - flexibility needed to work weekends or a weekend day.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver the role mainly consists of Class 1 Trunking operations:
- Transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
- Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols.
- Cooperate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines effectively.
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.
Our Perfect Worker
Requirements:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (2 years minimum).
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
- No more than 6 points on the licence.
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsement codes.
- Able to undertake trunking and store deliveries, including tail lift operations.
- Able to pull double deck trailers.
