Job Description Apply today to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client, who has one of the biggest names within the HGV industry. \n With the latest vehicles on the market, this gives you the best HGV experience and a top-range vehicle to work with! \n Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Burton Latimer. \n Consolidated rates of pay £17.14 - £21.87 per hour. \n Your Time at Work \n As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for: \n - Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness \n - Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. \n - Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations. \n Our Perfect Worker \n Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. \n Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation. \n You will have 6 months of previous experience, hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC
