We're looking for a reliable and focused Maintenance Planner to join our team in Chichester. Apply today to work as a Maintenance Planner for our client, a luxury automotive brand. The rate of pay is up to Β£25.72 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at: - Monday to Friday x1.33 - Saturday x1.5 - Sunday x2 All subject to WTA terms and conditions This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, between 43-45 hours per week (production dependant). The hours of work are: - 7am to 3:30pm Your Time at Work The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and implementing specialist planning activities to resolve technical issues within departments. The role is responsible for optimising equipment, following data analysis and plan/implement long term solutions to ensure uptime. You will also ensure the department is operating to the required technical standards and performance, this will encompass the creation, management and all associated administration of the Preventative Maintenance System within SAP. Key responsibilities: - To manage the day-to-day expenditure of the maintenance department consumable budget. - Steer the invest delivery for the department, working on the given invest cost from the management team. Manage over 35 service contracts annually. - To manage the specification, selection and standards for new equipment peripheries which are fit for purpose, cost effective and comply with health and safety regulations, as well as business standards and best practice guidelines. - To be the point of contact for Planners and other support functions and to steer and coordinate Shutdown activities within the business. - To represent the department in management meetings and final acceptance of equipment meetings. Our Perfect Worker Our ideal worker will: - Needs to be adaptable with a systematic and fact driven approach to problem solving, practically minded and a logical thinker. - Always meets the highest standards concerning accuracy and integrity in working on his own responsibilities. - HNC and or City and Guilds L3 or NVQ L3 minimum - At least 2 years in a technical role, ideally within Production Automation - Specialisation (other sectors will be considered). - A good working knowledge of SAP Maintenance
