The successful Production Manager will require technical abilities and experience with automation. Candidates from an engineering background are ideal for this role, Mechanical or Electrical.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that production operations run smoothly. This role is hands-on, and most of your time will be spent on the shop floor; however, you will have full management responsibilities (70/30 shop floor/office).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process.
- Implement and monitor operational plans and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Evaluate production performance data, including efficiency, output, and product quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Responsible for maintenance costs and quality output.
Knowledge/skills:
- Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of process automation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Management experience.
- P & L experience.
- Process driven.
Working hours:
Monday-Friday, Day shift, 8am-4.30pm.
Salary: Β£36,700.
You may be required to travel to other UK depots for onboarding and training.
