4 day week, Monday-Thursday. Hello Weekends!
This role is for an experienced Engineer, who has experience installing and maintaining security systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
You will be required to complete a DBS check due to the nature of the business.
You will hold a full, clean UK driving licence and will be required to travel to commercial & residential customers in England & Wales. A company vehicle and tools will be provided.
In your role as a Field Service Engineer - Security Systems installer, you will:
- Install, programme, and service CCTV and intruder alarms.
- Perform first fix and second fix cabling (cat, coax and multi-core), containment, terminations and labelling.
- Have knowledge of IP addressing, VLAN/PoE awareness, port-forwarding and remote access.
To be considered for the role, you should have:
- Experience in installing and servicing security systems.
- CSCS/ECS, IPAF or other site safety certifications.
- The ability to work independently on small jobs and lead/coordinate on larger installations.
Salary depends on experience.
